Welcome to the Pre-K & Blended Pre-K Page!
Ms. Miller Mrs. Guerra Ms. Lopez Students enrolled in the Pre-K program include students who are bilingual Spanish (AM) learning English as a Second Language (ESL) and/or economically disadvantaged. The (PM) Blended Classroom environment blends services for pre-kindergarten (pre-k) students and preschool children with disabilities in a totally inclusive classroom environment. The Pre-K classroom is co-taught and includes a special education teacher, a general education teacher, and one para-professional. Pre-K uses a theme based curriculum in order to prepare and assist students with the readiness skills needed for the upper grade levels. We work on learning and identifying letters, shapes, numbers and colors. In our class we work on drawing,cutting, pasting, and writing names. During Circle Time we listen to stories, count , sing, dance and learn the days of the week. Themes in Pre-K: School Me
