Projects and the Cool Stuff

The Grand Prairie Fire Department came to visit Daniels during Fire Safety Week.Mrs. Pointer got to wear the fire fighter uniform. Some of the students got to spray water with the big, heavy hose!

Family Involvement is a big deal at Daniels Elementary. In PPCD,

we are doing Family Projects each month, such as Septembers "Family Quilt" and October's "Fall Story" using the fall word wall words.

The half-day PPCD class is also doing family take-home bags which have special weekly activities for parents and children to do together, write in journals about, and send back to school to share.
