PPCD Family Night
December 7, 2007
PPCD students and their families had two hours
to enjoy snacks, make crafts, and have fun together.
There were 18 stations set up which covered:
art, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, literacy skills,science,
and math. Some were just plain fun! Mrs. Pointer finished up by
reading The Night Before Christmas.
Here are examples of the Stations we had for Family Night:
Matching and patterning bows, making letters out of marshmallows,
finding letters in the "snow", throwing bean bags into Santa's
stomach, "bowling" and having some snacks with parents.

During writing time, the students in Mrs. Pointer's class
came up with the following answers to these December topics:

Other December happenings:
Ms. Kemery's class is writing a play about Santa and his
reindeer to perform together!
We are having a Christmas gift exhange on Friday, December 21st.
Santa and his elves are making their annual visit on Friday the 14th
to the PPCD classrooms. The students get to sit on Santa's lap and tell
him what they want for Christmas!
